Last week, The Steller Group had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at the Denver Rescue Mission. On Tuesday, co-owners Conrad Steller and Emily Lonborg Steller and fellow team members headed to the Denver Rescue Mission’s warehouse to organize huge boxes of food donations—everything from canned beans and corn to boxes of cereal and pasta. Later that week, more team members served lunch in the Denver Rescue Mission’s community center: hearty plates brimming with freshly cooked chicken, potatoes, and salad.
Giving back to our local community is a meaningful part of our company, and we feel honored to partner with the Denver Rescue Mission to serve those in need. Throughout our community, the Denver Rescue Mission helps restore the lives of people experiencing homelessness and addiction through emergency services, rehabilitation, transitional programs, and community outreach.
“Volunteers are critical to the work we do at Denver Rescue Mission. They help us come alongside our homeless friends and neighbors in need to help them get back on the path to healthy, thriving, self-sufficient living,” Sarah Waite, the philanthropy officer at the Denver Rescue Mission, shared. “We are truly grateful to The Steller Group for their time, their hearts to serve, and the essential financial resources they continue to share with Denver Rescue Mission. They make our community a much better place!”
